She normally takes up bizarre eating challenges and stunts where she can display her unique talent. Miki states that on average she can hold up to 12 pounds of food in her stomach.
Early Life & Family
When Miki was as little as 5 years old, she relocated to Japan with her family. Her father is Japanese by origin and her mother is European American by origin. There, she participated in Sumo wrestling championships and obtained the second position.
After 7 years of their stay in Japan, they returned to the USA. Here, she completed her graduation in Business Administration from Nevada University in Las Vegas. She started making her talent of eating as a money-making tool from a challenge in a local restaurant, where she was awarded $1500 on winning the dare of eating the entire meal in a limited time.
Miki’s Career and Major Milestones
Sudo stepped into the eating competitive network by signing in to Major League Eating in April 2013 and she won a Pho Eating Contest held the same year. The following year she was recognized as the top-ranked female eating competitor at Major League’s Eating. Further in 2015, she reached the top three positions overall.
Her biggest achievement as a competitive eater was to win the women’s annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competitions 6 times consecutively from 2014 to 2019. She made a mark by eating 41 hot dogs in the year 2017 of the same.

- Sudo does take up sufficient workouts and meal plans to keep herself fit. Before having any eating challenges, she goes on a liquid diet for the entire 48 hours before the day of her tournament. Additionally, she goes to the gym on an average 4 days a week for an hour each day.
Miki Sudo won $10k at every annual contest that she won at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competition. Till 2019, records estimated her net worth to be about $450,000. Most of her net worth is from winning eating competitions. Also, she works at a restaurant as her daily source of income.
