Star is a Fox Broadcasting Company musical drama television series developed by Lee Daniels and Tom Donaghy. It follows the story of three brilliant young singers as they traverse the music industry on their way to stardom.

A Peek Into The Storyline
Star, the protagonist of the show is a young woman who grew up in the foster care system and vows to take charge of her life one day. Star searches down her sister, Simone, and her Instagram friend, Alexandra, and the three of them travel to Atlanta to pursue their dreams of becoming music stars.
The girls’ ambitions are quickly dashed when reality sets in, and they discover that ambition often comes at a price.
They wanted to discover ways to get a record deal and found a sense of hope in a music producer named Jahil Rivera who took a chance on them.
Within months of establishing themselves as emerging new artists in Atlanta and obtaining the moniker “Big Trouble,” they encounter a slew of new problems in their relationships with one another, as well as the return of their past to haunt them.
Facing some unforeseen circumstances makes them realize that the music industry is difficult to navigate as they make numerous sacrifices to stay on top and relevant while touring with the label’s other artists and finding themselves at odds with one another.

Summing It Up
The abrupt ending of the female-led tv series has not been taken well by the fans. Although the tv movie as the proper end to the series is a big relief, the fans still wanted and expected more from the series.
Let us hope for the TV movie to drop as soon as possible while we sit and watch the other three stunning seasons.
